Alcohol, cigarettes, and foods that will be eaten in the store are just a few of the items that are off limits for those using the federal 'Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program', or "SNAP" Benefits. Since the state doles out the funds, the Legislature has a say over how they're spent, and one state lawmaker isn't so happy with the menu.  « Less
