Eli Lilly (LLY) said today clinical trials showed its Alimta drug helped lung cancer patients live three months longer. In a study published in British medical journal "The Lancet," Lilly said that in a 663 person study, those using Alimta as a maintenance therapy along with the best available care lived an average of 13.4 months, while those receiving equal care without Alimta lived another 10.6 months. « Less
