A very slow moving upper level disturbance will bring showers and thunderstorms to our area for much of the week ahead. Rain will be on the increase tonight, will be most widespread Wednesday and will slowly decrease in coverage as we head to the weekend. I expect several inches of rainfall in area gauges by Friday. Over 6" will be possible over E TX and NW LA with amounts closer to 3" possible over SE OK, NE TX and SW AR. Temperatures will be below normal with highs in the lower 80s and lows in the upper 60s to near 70. I don't expect much of a severe weather threat. IF we see any severe storms, it will be Tuesday over E TX. « Less
