A 50% chance of rain showers Wednesday as a cold front blows through central California. Much colder and cloudier than the past several days as well. The chance of rain will begin before daybreak Wednesday and showers will linger through the afternoon. A trough of cool, low pressure air will move through the area late Thursday into early Friday and keep the chance of showers and even thunderstorms going. Snow will fall above 5-thousand feet Wednesday and then lower to near 35-hundred feet Friday. Expect a foot of fresh snow and windy, difficult travel conditions above 4-5-thousand feet.  « Less
