We've had measurable snow for the first five days in February! Hopefully you're not sick of the white stuff, because a little more is heading our way. We start the day out under the low clouds & fog, however another light snow/mix precip event is due this afternoon, lasting into late tonight. Warmer air filtering into the system will mean some pockets of light rain mixing with the snow, even periods of freezing rain will be possible, especially in northern Iowa. The heaviest snow will fall around the Mississippi River, where 1" to 3" is expected there. A little closer to home, look for a fresh inch to an inch and a half in SE Minnesota east of I-35. Locations west of the interstate look to be spared by the brunt of the storm, yet again. « Less
