When aerobics instructor, Alberto 'Beto' Perez, forgot his music for his fitness class in the mid 1990s, he had to get a little creative with his music selection. And, well, Zumba was born. Zumba combines a dance-based workout with the sounds of Latin and other international music. Since its creation, instructors have added their own flair to their routines. Willingboro zumba instructor, Nadia Neubert is no exception. "With my diverse, cultural background, I bring a different flair to my classes with the music and the moves that appeals to most," said Neubert. The Caribbean-born instructor is classically trained in a form of Indian dance called Odissi.
