Thousands of locals from Philadelphia gathered in South Philly to watch the 2013 Philadelphia's Mummer's Parade, which consisted of 40 different clubs. One of those clubs was the Hulmeville Uptown String Band, who has performed in this New Year's celebration for the last 76 years. "We have a 1920's Keystone cops and robbers theme--so it's really recognizable," said Uptown String Band President Joe Casee. "It's big band and string music."
