Erie County's Lake View Landfill is located off Robison Road in Summit Township and is operated by Waste Management. The original landfill, known as the Old Hill and, by some as Mt. Trashmore, is nearing capacity. Landfill workers are currently using an 18-acre expansion just south of the original trash hill. The entire expansion, including the current 18 acres, has a projected life of about 36 years.  « Less
