The Mississippi State Department of Health has reported 2,290 new COVID-19 cases and 30 new deaths including two in Stone County and one in Hancock County. The statewide total stands at 259,117 cases and 5,668 deaths. Here is a look at the cases by county in our area: • Hancock County has 2,853 cases and 60 deaths • Harrison County is now at 13,876 cases and 199 deaths • Jackson County has 10,652 cases and 187 deaths • Stone County has 1,484 cases and 24 deaths • George County has 2,027 cases and 39 deaths • Pearl River County stands at 3,380 cases and 104 deaths 207,769 are presumed recovered. « Less
