Feb. 5 (Bloomberg) -– U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, Floyd Abrams, a partner at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP, and Neil Barofsky, former special investigator for the U.S. Treasury’s Troubled Asset Relief Program and a Bloomberg Television contributing editor, offer their views on the U.S.’s lawsuit against McGraw-Hill Cos. and its Standard & Poor’s unit over claims S&P knowingly understated the credit risks of bonds and derivatives that were central to the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression.
