Jan. 23 (Bloomberg) -- Matthew Circosta, an economist at Moody's Analytics Inc. in Sydney, talks about the outlook for Australia's economy, central bank monetary policy and the local currency. Australian consumer prices gained less than economists forecast last quarter on cheaper food and health care, pushing down the local dollar and providing the central bank scope to reduce interest rates.
