Dec. 5 (Bloomberg) -- John Honan, Sydney-based chief economist at Ausbil Dexia Ltd., talks about the outlook for Australia's economy, central bank monetary policy and currency. The economy in Australia slowed last quarter as the government and consumers tightened spending, validating the central bank’s decision to cut interest rates yesterday.
