In wake of the District--91 school board not renewing Idaho Falls High School football coach Chuck Johnson's contract last week by a 5-0 vote, some District 91 coaches got together to talk about concerns they had. They met in an informal meeting this afternoon at Skyline High School with approximately 10 coaches in attendance. One coach suggested in the dialogue, "High school athletics district wide are a scary situation." That person then went on to add, "What happens to one of us can happen to all of us." Sources tell Sports Line that Chuck Johnson has met with Superintendent George Boland, but specifics were not released.  « Less
