Once college rivals, rookies Henry Sims and Fab Melo will square off against each other when the Maine Red Claws face the Erie BayHawks on Thursday night at 7 at Erie Insurance Arena. Sims played at Georgetown while Melo, a first-round pick of the Boston Celtics, played at Syracuse. Sims is coming off a 19-point performance in Erie's 82-80 win Saturday night against the Canton Charge.
