They've played outdoors on real grass and fake grass, and everytime, they ended up with the win! But this weekend, Bismarck High will encounter new elements, and that's indoor Football on turf when they face Fargo South at the Fargodome. BHS utilized 'the Golf Dome' today, to get used to the conditions. They've done so the last two seasons as well, where they went 1-and-1 in State Title games. It worked last year and the Demons hope it works again this year as they'll try for two-in-a-row. "(Mark Gibson:) It is different being inside and it is a completely different game and it is a lot faster and I think the one thing that for whatever reason, we tend to lose a little breathe in things like that in the third and fourth quarter and it is something where it is a little big warmer there than what we are accustomed too and we have to get our kids the best we possibly can and thank god Bismarck has the golf bubble to do those things. (Neiko Pascua:) I think it just helps out with getting used to our sneakers and cleats in it and just the atmosphere gets really hot in the domes, so it prepares us mostly for it. " South has an advantage, having played a few games in the Fargodome already. The Demons defeated them back in week three in Bismarck. The 3A game is the last one at the Dakota Bowl, and they kickoff on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. central.  « Less
