A local farmer's market is feeling some change this year. Going from the cold spring to sudden hot weather has had local farmers feeling a bit of backlash. The weather just isn't allowing crops to grow the way they normally do. However, farmers remain optimistic about this year's crop after recent rain and now sunshine. While weather has affected the local farmer's market, it's not the only factor making this a unique year for farmers... the Mitchell Street Project has also brought change. As bulldozers and traffic cones line downtown Cadillac, the local market had to relocate. The Cadillac Farmers Market switched locations on Tuesday June, 23rd. Signs posted in the old location pointed customers to Chesnut Street. Those at the market said they like the new location. The Cadillac Farmers market will continue at its new location through out the summer.  « Less
