overnight storms lead to localized flooding. we've seen 1 and 2 inches of rain within a half hour timespan. nws service has issued an urban adn small stream flood advisory norther cook and southern lake counties until 745 advising motorists to not drive in areas with standing water. scattered showers across the area, expect to see activity through the next couple hours, and they'll be back later tonight.  « Less
