A coffee shop and cafe located in downtown Cadillac recently added a new selection to their menu… the Shay Station is now serving some alcoholic beverages with the addition of a new “wine bar.” The wine bar features numerous wines available by the glass or bottle; the Shay is also serving a variety of beers, including numerous microbrews. The owner of the Shay Station hopes that the wine bar will help business to pick up as Cadillac’s downtown district faces renovations that could potentially reduce traffic to downtown businesses. The Shay’s Wine Bar manager believes that the addition will, indeed, help business. “I think it will bring in some new clients, and once we get the word out and people enjoy coming in, they’ll be able to tell their friends. I think it will really help our business get stronger,” Daniel Kramer, the Shay Station’s evening wine bar manager, told Local Edition. As part of the new addition, the Shay Station has begun hosting wine tastings every Tuesday evening from 6 until 8pm.  « Less
