Roxana Saberi was jailed in Iran last month, after being accused of spying. The 32-year old journalist began her hunger strike soon after her imprisonment began. The group, Reporters Without Borders, says she was briefly hospitalized more than two weeks into her hunger strike when she stopped drinking water. She was released within a day after once-again drinking water. Meanwhile, dozens of volunteers around the US are holding a hunger strike to support Saberi. The Free Roxana campaign is designed to encourage Saberi to end her fast and let others carry it on for her. « Less
