Ludington Residents who enjoy the annual Gus Macker 3-on-3 Charity Basketball Tournament have a new way to support the event. The Ludington and Scottville Chamber of Commerce recently announced the creation of their "Ludington Macker Backer Program," which allows citizens to be recognized at the tournament by providing a $100 donation. Chamber President Kathy Maclean said that the organization received a huge amount of positive response regarding keeping the Gus Macker Tournament in Ludington; the Chamber created the "Macker Backer" program so that those strong supporters would have the opportunity to help show their support.
