They may not be as world-renown as some other children's choirs, but they were definitely making a name for themselves in andamp;lt;a href=andamp;quot;http://www.kxnet.com/t/minot-ndandamp;quot; class=andamp;quot;kxInlineLinkandamp;quot;andamp;gt;Minotandamp;lt;/aandamp;gt; today. The Western Plains Children's Choir is composed of 5th through 7th graders from the Minot area. They spent their day Friday touring local elementary schools and performing several songs. Choir director, Rebecca Petrik helped organize the group nearly 18 years ago, and she says it continues to grow every year.
