Water still lingers in fields, and miles of river north of the Jamestown reservoir is out of its banks. This first look from above, shows the dam dumping water into town, parks and recreation areas and inundating them with flood waters. FRITZ: When you drive through town on a street you don't really realize it and can't see it. But when you get in the air, it surprised me at how wide the river was at some places. Three homeowners were evacuated yesterday because of dike concerns. And plenty of homeowners still have water pressing hard against sandbag levees in their backyards. FRITZ: We've got the dike walk, we've got the guard in conjunction with the Corps. 24/7 and when we find something we just assess it and see if we can do something for it and fix it. REPORTER: Officials say drains in fields are doing their job, because some of the overland flooding has gone down. Hoping this view next week will look a lot drier, and greener. Above Jamestown Stephanie Goetz, WDAY 6 news. FREMGEN SAYS THEY WERE NOT ABLE TO SAVE THE THREE HOUSES NEAR THE FAILING DIKE IN SOUTH WEST JAMESTOWN. AND THAT THEY WILL LIKELY BE FLOODED.  « Less
