A visit to Washington -- that's exactly what's coming up for a local middle school teacher, who will be attending President-Elect Obama's inauguration. Clair Taglauer, an 8th Grade English teacher at Traverse City East Middle School, is serving as a chaperone for high school and college students attending the Presidential Youth Inaugural Conference. Taglauer will be in Washington between January 17th and 21st for the inauguration; she will share her experiences with TCAPS students by posting daily webcasts during her trip, as well as communicating via email.
