A local Chamber of Commerce is currently accepting nominations for exceptional local business leaders and outstanding citizens, all as part of an annual award program. The Ludington and Scottville Chamber of Commerce will accept nominations for the 2008 Business Leader of the Year and Citizen of the Year awards until March 13. Each year, the organization recognizes individuals for the contributions to the community. The award winners are honored at the annual Chamber of Commerce dinner, which will be held in April. Any business leader or citizen in Mason County is eligible for an award; all nominations must be submitted in writing.
