It's become one of the most sought after tournaments in the state. The 3rd annual Hoopster tournament held at the Bismarck Civic Center pits some of the best Class B teams in the state against each other. And each team is hand picked. Hoopster Publisher Don Hanson says he works very hard to choose the teams that will be on the top at the end of the year. He even got last years B Boys title game right. This year there will be something new...that's never been done at the Class B level before. And thats a shot clock, the Hoopster Shootout will be the first tournament to try the new idea. The High School Activities Association is trying it out at several tournament this year, to see if its a possibility for the future. andamp;quot; (DON HANSON/ HOOPSTER MAGAZINE) there's been a lot of disscussion after the State Class B tournaments that maybe the thirty five second shot clock should be implemented because it changed the Clas A game considerably and would allow the State Class B has always been the exciting side of basketball in the state of North Dakot but as of late its been going down and the scores have been going down so they'd like to get something back that would bring that excitement back and get into scoring in the 60's and 70's again which the fans like andamp;quot; Here's a list of the games that will be in town this Friday and Saturday the 12th and 13th. Friday starting at noon, the Beulah boys will take on Carrington, and following that game at approximately 1:30 it'll be the Thompson girls taking on Beach.
