Vigo county commissioners approve the sheriff's new salary contract. The contract states that Sheriff Jon Marvel will be paid the same as the county prosecutor plus any stipend he would receive from the county or state in 2009. In the past Sheriff Marvel was allowed to keep any extra money he could save on purchasing inmates food.  « Less
