The American Red Cross will be holding a few blood drives in our area over the coming weeks. Blood drives will be held at the Temple Hill Baptist Church on December 1 and 2. The blood drive to be held on December 1 will take place from 1pm until 6:45pm; the blood drive on the 2nd will run from 11:15am until 5pm. Another blood drive will be held on December 12 at Marion High School; that drive will run from 9am until 2:45pm. The Red Cross emphasizes that the need for blood is consistent, and encourages anyone eligible to donate blood to do so. To be eligible, you must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good general health.  « Less
