Woonsocket firefighters say a huge fire that ripped through a multi-family home is considered suspicious. The fire chief says the home on East School Street had been foreclosed on. Six people were on the first floor when the fire started, but they all made it out safely. One firefighter was briefly trapped on the fourth floor when debris fell on him, but he managed to free himself and was not hurt. The flames were so intense, nearby buildings were evacuated while firefighters fought to keep the flames from spreading. The Woonsocket police arson squad, and the State Fire Marshall are investigating. The Red Cross is helping those left homeless.  « Less
