Tomorrow, many first time voters will be heading to the polls to let their voice be heard. Brad Feldman sits down with some of these voters to get their thoughts on the historic election. The issues... (Beth Gordon/ 1st time voter) The war in Iraq, the economy and national defense overall. Sound familiar? It's the same topics the candidates have been talking about the last two years on the campaign trail. (James Grossman/ 1st Time Voter) I think either one of these candidates whether Barack or John would be a better president than George Bush because both of them are leaning towards being a better president. Because they are seeing the american people actually standing up for something now. Each of these high school seniors have been watching the campaigns closely because this year their voice matters. (Adam Twardowski/ 1st time voter) Unfortunatly, the US Government today represents and institution that the founding fathers did not envision. (James Grossman/ 1st time voter) I think the economy finally affected each and everybody in this country and I think as a young person turning 18 and going to college my view is the economy. Am I going to get a loan. Is it going to be tougher to get a loan. And on the issue of experience... (James Grossman/ 1st time voter) When asked about foreign policy, Joe Biden, said in the third person, Nobody knows foreign policy better than Joe Biden. (Adam Twardowski/ 1st time voter) In my opinion the less experience the better. (Allie Currey/ 1st Time Voter) Read into it what you will but the vice president itself is not a huge office neccessarily. In an election full of firsts....these first time voters cant wait to be a part of history. (Candace Rivinius/ 1st Time Voter) Either way its going to be a historical election.
