It was the cause of nearly 13-thousand deaths last year in the U.S., but the good news is, that number is on the decline. Drunk driving-related crashes continue to impact many individuals and families each year, and more and more people are realizing just how serious the topic really is. That has a lot to do with the messages of people like Sarah Panzau. In 2003, she was a involved in a drunk driving crash that resulted in serious bodily injury. Panzau is a former All-American Volleyball player whose life was forever changed because of her decision to drive drunk. She says her message has a big impact on teenagers and college students because it's something she wishes she could've heard... (Sarah Panzau, Drunk Driving Accident Survivor) What would I've wanted to see in high school or college that would've impacted me? You don't hear stories like mine. You don't hear about them. High school kids, college kids, don't get to see stories like mine a lot. So I thought, You know what? I'm gonna get up and and talk about.
