It may not be the most often thought about Scandinavian food, but it definitely is one to savor. Piping hot waffles are one of the many foods on the menu for Hostfest-goers. There is no real secret, but the toppings will make your mouth water. You can have them topped with your choice of strawberries or blueberries and cream or maple syrup. Either way, they are selling like hot cakes! (Vi Hosie, Waffle Hus) The Surrey Senior Citizens, we started our club out there and they called us and asked us if we would like to do abooth here as kind of a fund raiser for us and a fund raiser for Hostefest, so we have been here for five years, so we get all of our volunteers and like I said, it has been fun!
