A freshman starting at the Class A varisty Volleyball level isn't something you often see...in fact it's something Century High Head Coach Jeni Walsh says's she's never done....until Alexis Jacobs - otherwise known as 'A.J.' JENI WALSH/ PATRIOTS HEAD COACH: she's earned that spot her potential is unlimited right now, and the girls have accepted her and she's here for the long run With a junior and senior dominated team, A.J. has been learning on the fly but when you watch the Pats play, you'd never know she's the least experienced player on the floor. TRICIA SORENSEN/ RIGHT SIDE HITTER she's good she's a really good jumper, and she doesn't really play like a freshman so she helps the team out a lot ALEXIS JACOBS/ OUTSIDE HITTER: it's really exicting I never though I would be on varsity, but and then again the game is a lot more fast going and its a lot different from middle school but yeah its a lot of fun A-J and her teammates are next in action tomorrow night when they host Jamestown.  « Less
