They only allowed four goals in two games, but then again, the Bismarck Bobcats only scored one in their exhibition series with Notre Dame... which resulted in two losses. But, the 'Capitol City Kitties' can salvage the preseason this weekend. The Alexandria Blizzard are coming to town. They were a team that started slowly last year, but ended strong...reaching the Robertson Cup. With the NAHL schedule very divisional based, the Cats and Blizz will battle A LOT this season. (Byron Pool:) They are going to be one of the top teams again and the way that they came on last year is probably the way that they are going to start this season, so basically for us - the exhibition games aren't so much as 'us sending a message,' but it would be a good measuring stick for us to see where we match-up. Both teams are in the Central Division this season. Alexandria's in town on Friday and Saturday with 7:30 start times both nights. Speaking of the Bobcats, next week - 'Inside the Den' returns. We'll keep up with the Cats all season long on Wednesday's at 10:00 p.m. central.  « Less
