An area animal shelter is taking harsh criticism by one animal-rights group. The Humane Society of Louisiana claims animals in the Assumption Parish Animal Control Shelter are being mistreated. The shelter is located on the grounds of the Assumption Parish Jail in Napoleonville.  « Less
