News regarding our state's oil production. Bruce Hicks with North Dakota's oil and gas division says our state set a monthly oil production record in May. The state produced more than 156-thousand barrels per day. That's up nearly 4 percent over the record set in April. June production numbers won't be available until early August. The record price for North Dakota sweet crude has been broken five times since June 6, and now stands at $136.29 per barrel-that was set July 3rd.  « Less
