Dogs tend to bring a smile to most peoples faces. After a long day at work just coming home to see you best friend can brighten your day quickly. Brad Feldman introduces us to a man who's using his dogs to bring smiles to thousands of people at one time. (Sound - JD PLatt) Over, over.. Everybody DOWN. Meet Holiday, Newberry and Galaxy. These are just three of the dogs in JD Platt's entertainment routine. (JD Platt/ K9 Kings Entertainment) It doesn't matter if it is your household pet to a dog that you do competitions with you know it is just that beauty of that unconditional love that we have with our animals and dogs are definitely the ones that shine the most with just being our best buds in life. (Sound) Holiday roll over, good girl. Platt has been putting on K-9 shows throughout the country for the past thirteen years. This ex- professional snowboarder and breakDancer has put his past into his routines. (JD Platt/ K9 Kings Entertainment) I just love entertaining. I love throwing frisbees out into the audience. I love seeing the looks on kids and parents faces when they see these dogs just do amazing tricks. (Sound) Platts passion for entertaining is in this dogs as well because of the training they go through. (JD Platt/ K9 Kings Entertainment) This is kind of the heart of my training is to be able to actually do tricks with my dogs without having a toy or without having treats. Its just the best treat in the world in my opinion and praise all comes from the hand right here and vocals. Platt's philosophy has made him one of the hottest acts on the professional rodeo circuit. And now he brings his routine to the Mandan Rodeo Days. Brad Feldman KX News Platt will be performing at the Mandan Rodeo Days each night. After his performance you'll be able to meet him and his dogs at a meet and greet. Later this month Platt will be competing on a new CBS show called Greatest American Dog.
