A car crash that killed a Manitoba man has resulted in a negligent homicide charge for a Belcourt man. 45-year-old Allen St. Germaine could face up to five years in prison if convicted on the charge. Authorities say St. Germaine drove his vehicle over the center line on Highway 281 north of Dunseith and hit another vehicle. The passenger in that car, 56-year-old Dennis McKenzie of Brandon, Manitoba was killed in the accident. St. Germaine wasn't injured and has also been charged with drunk driving, driving under suspension, and driving without liability insurance. He's due back in court on August 4.  « Less
