I recently visited the New England Wild Flower Society in Framingham, MA. Bill Brumback, their conservation director, showed me how invasives have spread in the woods around the societies property. One of the most common invasives in the area is burning bush or Winged Euonymus. Know for it's blazing fall color, this plant is a popular landscape standard, still widely available at garden centers.
