New research reveals the majority of parents don't use infant car seats properly. A survey of nearly 300 families leaving the hospital with a newborn showed 95-percent made at least one error in car seat use. The most common mistakes were a loose harness and car seat installation, a low chest clip and incorrect recline angle. Experts encourage parents to work with certified car seat technicians before being discharged from the hospital. « Less
