One person is dead following a 4-vehicle crash on Highway 23 east of New Town yesterday. The Highway Patrol reports 49-year-old Sandra R. Johnson of New Town was a passenger in a pickup that was side-swiped by car driven by 28-year-old Delmar Sheppard of Mandaree. The pickup slid into the ditch and rolled, killing Johnson. Sheppard hit two other vehicles sending them to the ditch as well. Sheppard was not injured in the accident.  « Less
