The wait is over...our annual Golfing segment is back and today, it included some fun for the KX Sports Department at the 'Fore Seasons Center.' Here's the season premiere of 'On the Green.' (Billboard:) 'On the Green is sponsored by BNC National Bank and Bismarck Lumber.' (Dan Williamson:) We are 'On the Green' this week and we are indoors instead of outdoors since we haven't quite 'thawed out' from some of the recent weather conditions so instead, we are working on our game at the 'Golf Dome' right here in Bismarck and my guest this week, I didn't have to look to far - just a cubicle off of my left - Tia Streeter is joining us. Tia, you love three things in life...your husband, your job and the game of golf? (Tia Streeter:) I love the game of golf, especially when it is inside and its not that nice of weather....this is perfect for me. (Dan Williamson:) Lets go putt some balls! (Music montage) (Dan Williamson:) In your opinion, how important is it to really be good with your short game in the game of golf? (Tia Streeter:) Well, that is the most important thing. Obviously, you have to drive well off of the tee, but if you can't putt when you get to the green, what is the point? (Dan Williamson:) You don't just have to putt here at the 'Golf Dome,' what else can you do at the 'Golf Dome?' (Tia Streeter:) You can hit and drive and use your irons, and that is kind of the best part about it. You can do everything when you come up here and it is climate controlled...what is better than that? (Dan Williamson:) When did you start golfing? (Tia Streeter:) I started golfing a couple of years ago. My husband is the one that got me into golfing and I enjoy golfing because it is so challenging, I really love any type of sport, but the fact that golf really makes you work *hard* to be good at it - that is really why I enjoy golfing. But, I really only have being doing it a couple of years, so I can't say that I'm the best, but I work hard to try. (Dan Williamson:) You've been working at KXMB for about a year, what's your favorite part? (Tia Streeter:) Probably working with you Dan, we really have a real good time working together and I love the fact that every single day, our job is different - That's the best part about it. (Dan Williamson:) The best part is*that* didn't sound rehearsed! (laughs)  « Less
