Fire continues to burn into the night as firefighters from nearly a dozen local departments look for the stamina to keep on battling the blaze. Blackhawk Helicopters were called in from the National Guard to help stop the spreading flames but right now there's no telling when the situation will be completely under control. Jim Olson has the latest details... There were two major fires today - and they began within minutes of each other one southwest of Minot in Eastside Estates and the other southeast of town at the railroad trestle. And that meant some quick action for firefighters, law enforcement agencies, and residents facing a quickly-advancing fire. As of tonight, Tim Beach of the Minot Fire Department says the National Guard is providing two bulldozers that will be used to knock down trees to the southeast of Minot where the fire is the most stubborn. Right now, there are no homes threatened by the fire. And while it appears one home may have been destroyed in the Trestle Valley area, there was no other major structural damage and no injuries from the fires.
