Governor John Hoeven says he's going to wait and see what happens before he passes judgment on the merger. He says he talked with Northwest officials today and made sure they knew North Dakota's concerns... (Gov. John Hoeven) My focus is what mean for nd routes - price and service. Are they going to maintain the routes now in ND. Communities large and small, are they going to continue to build them and have good aircraft coming in here. Senators Conrad, Dorgan and Representative Pomeroy all have concerns about the merger and questions. Both Conrad and Pomeroy say they doubt the merger will benefit North Dakota. One reason they give is that the headquarters would be in Atlanta rather than Minneapolis.  « Less
