13-year-old Bismarck home-school student Nick Gellerman wins the North Dakota spelling bee. Nick correctly spelled propinquity in round eight of the spell-down to take the title. Nick beat out 97 other contestants from around the state. He'll compete in the Scripps National Spelling Bee in late May. Students from 50 counties around the state competed. Carter Aus of Fargo took second place. There was a three way tie for third.  « Less
