Taking care of a child can be pretty difficult but taking care of seven children, now that's a task for our Clayton Clark. In this week's Someone's Gotta Do It Clayton goes into uncharted waters where for the first time in his life he holds a baby in his arms and changes a diaper too... (Clayton Clark, KX News) Today I'll be taking on my biggest challenge yet, I'm going to be working at a Daycare with seven kids, including Katie there. (Kathy Jensen, Daycare Provider) It's a group liscensed daycare and I have seven kids I take care of and it's a great job. We eat a lot don't we, we play, and I don't really have a structured daycare we just do a lot of free play. (Clayton Clark, KX News) And some like to take a nap once in a while. Time to get phoebe's breakfast ready. I need 2% milk and a cinnamon roll. you hungy? enjoy. Cinnamon Rolls can get a little messy. Am I doing a good job phoebe? Now it's play time. I was going to play with you guys. (Kids) No your not. (Clayton Clark, KX News) Why not, that's not very nice. Hi there, No high five? (Katie) Pull. (Clayton Clark, KX News) Alright I'll pull. (Kayden) Your a Grandpa (Clayton CLark, KX News) A Grandpa? Baby Crying (Clayton Clark, KX News) And then somebody woke up. It's my first time holding an infant. (Kathy Jensen, Daycare Provider) He's four months old. (Clayton CLark, KX News) Nice, he stopped crying. I think he's forcing something out. He know the routine. I don't know if I want to know what's in here. I know I'm scared too. (Kathy Jensen, Daycare Provider) OK I think you're good to go. (Clayton Clark, KX NEws) Good there's nothing in there. (Kathy Jensen, Daycare Provider) No it's not empty. (Clayton Clark, KX News) Did I wipe enough. (Kathy Jensen, Daycare Provider) Yep that's good enough. Unwrap and put it on there pretty tight so nothing leaks out. You were a good sport buddy. (Clayton Clark, KX News) Thanks, oh wait you mean him. (Kathy Jensen, Daycare Provider) That was good. You see the 6 ounce line, fill it up to there. You need three full scoops in there. (Clayton Clark, KX News) I'm so nervous about takinbg care of a child. Alright who wants to be my shaker. Alright Katie will do it. Baby Crying (Clayton Clark, KX News) It's ok, it's ok, you want the bottle? Am I holding the bottle right? (Kathy Jensen, Daycare Provider) And then at three ounces you have to burp him. (Clayton Clark, KX News) I don't like the sound of that. (Kathy Jensen, Daycare Provider) You turn him like that (Clayton Clark, KX News) I don't think anything, oh wait there it is. You guys ready for your nap time story? What was going on there? Hot dogs and cotton candy are his favorite. What's your favorite thing to eat at the fair? Cotton Candy. And After story time comes nap time and the kids seemed pretty tires after a morning of fun and excitement with me, or the other way around. Clayton Clark, KX News.  « Less
