He went beyond the call of duty and is honored for it today at the State Capitol..The story made national headlines so it may sound familiar to you.Sergeant Justin Lampert was vacationing in Las Vegas in July of 2007.A gunman opened fire on a crowd of about 200 people outside of the New York, New York casino.Four people were wounded...That's when Justin stepped in.He subdued and disarmed the gunman.Today he's being awarded the soldiers medal, for heroism outside of combat.(Sgt.
