If you've ever wanted to donate blood, but just can't find time to do it, there's good news for you. United Blood Services will now be using a simplified health history interview prior to actual blood donation. United Blood Services Center Manager, Rich Larcombe, says the shorter questionnaire is something they've been pushing for years... (Rich Larcombe, United Blood Services Center Manager) It's one of those things that, it's been a long time coming. To be eligible to donate blood, you must be 17 years of age, at least 110 pounds, and in good health. And if you're interested in donating, you can make an appointment by calling 1-800-863-9079 or visit www.unitedbloodservices.org. « Less
