Families of patients staying at Trinity Hospital in Minot will soon have a new option when it comes to getting some shut eye during strenuous times. The Trinity Guest House is nearing completion. Perry Olson tells us about the new facililty in tonight's Eye on Health. (Perry Olson - KX News) There can be plenty to worry about when a loved one is critically ill here at the hospital, but at Trinity, some of that worry can be eased staying here at the new Trinity Guest House. (Terry Hoff, Pres. and CEO - Trinity Health) "A gathering place and a place of rest for families of critically ill patients who don't want to stray too far and be near family during this critical time." Work continues on the old Design and Decor building that came to Trinity as a gift a 100 percent donation to the people of the region from a couple that has remained anonymous. (Terry Hoff) "It was a generous gift from a really kind and caring Minot couple. We are most fortunate that they did this for us and our patients. There are 12 guest rooms that will sleep two per room and then there are two gathering areas with couchs, chairs, a small kitchen to make a snack...there will be a lobby to check people in." April has been pinned as the goal for a grand opening for the facility that will no doubt be used by many over the years. (Terry Hoff) "Our service area is about 20 thousand square miles. If you have someone say from Wildrose who has a member who is ill and they have to drive in and don't want to leave, this is a really great and accessable place for them to stay and catch some sleep while they worry about a loved one in critical condition in the hospital."
