They call themselves Egypt's first rock band. In a country dominated by traditional music or soft pop, Cairokee is a novelty. Singing in Arabic, they use irony and humour to highlight social issues. They have a loyal following, and although they dream of an international recording contract, it's a little early to give up their day jobs. « Less
