It's a been a whirlwind day for Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul. He first spoke at a rally in Fargo this afternoon to 12-hundred supporters. Then, he came to Bismarck and spoke to 400 people at the Elks Club. Paul calls himself the champion of the constitution. His message to North Dakotans before super Tuesday is less government and more freedom... If they want more freedom and less government, then they only have one choice. And most people like freedom and they're tired of big government because big government hasn't been working. So whether it's foreign policy, personal liberty, economic liberty. We face all of those problems and they're looking for answers and I say the answer's found in less government, more freedom...very simply you need somebody that will obey the Constitution in its strictest manner possible. Paul says America needs to get out of Iraq. He says that's what 70 percent of Americans want... So on one hand we support the dictators, just as we do in Saudi Arabia. They're hardly ideals for protections of civil liberties. We spend our money protecting them, and at the same time we're saying we're in Iraq to spread democracy. This is just not the case.  « Less
